This exciting one-day workshop engages students to find the most innovative solution to a business challenge through various exercises using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It gives them the opportunity to participate in exciting activities with corporate mentors that are meant to expand their horizons and introduce entrepreneurship in a fun way.

Overview

Program Aims to:

-        Students are divided into teams that compete against each other through a set of activities and recreational learning games. They must propose a solution within a very limited time, with the help and guidance of trained professional volunteers from the private sector.

-        Foster an understanding of the world of work and a spirit of entrepreneurship through the principle of learning by doing.

-        Develop their interpersonal as well as problem-solving skills and learn to work in groups under very tight deadlines.

Objectives

Learning Outcomes:

-        Think of self-employment as a career option and apply basic soft skills and concepts.

-        Evaluate project ideas and their viability.

-        Demonstrate basic planning skills and evaluate marketing, financing, and operational aspects of a business.
