The Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) was launched by Dubai SME in its capacity as the Department of Economic Development’s agency mandated to develop the SME sector. An innovative initiative, the DEA was established in 2014 as the educational arm of its parent organization and shares its mission to enable SMEs and entrepreneurs to contribute toward steady and sustainable economic development in Dubai.
Both Dubai SME and the DEA are committed to promoting a stronger support system for SME owners and future entrepreneurs. The Academy is further committed to offering targeted knowledge and skill sets based on the needs of our community. I am therefore confident that the DEA will have a great influence on overall economic development in Dubai and on the city's position as a vibrant business hub.
