Islam is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, business owner, and a coach. Islam is recognized for his innovative state-of-art ways of how to build a growing business into a company that consistently produces bottom-line results, profits, wealth and equity.
On the entrepreneurship side, starting from selling stickers and fireworks as a kid, to building several technology and development startups. Islam has founded and managed several companies such as Distinction, Qinnova Inc, Blujino Media, Businessarti, World Edutours and many more. He is currently the CEO of Seqwel Group which owns and co-manages a portfolio of highly growing ventures and startups.
During his professional career, Islam has worked with, consulted and trained several multinational companies such as P&G, Vodafone, Siemens, Arab African International Bank, PwC, Avis Budget Group and many more. He also co-managed government mega projects for Royal Jordanian Court, Iraqi Cabinet, and Egyptian ministry of Youth. Islam has served as the regional director of BT innovation, overseeing it's business operations in 13 countries. Before BT, he was serving as AIESEC's Director of External Relations & VP of Finance for Egypt and African region.
During his career, Islam received many awards. He received with his team the internationally recognized Performance & Excellence award by UBS in 2003. He also received the PWC award of outstanding team performance in the same year. Islam received certifications and recognitions for his accomplishments from many international organizations such as AHRMA & ASTD. To date, he has initiated and developed projects valued in excess of $500 million dollars on both private and public levels.
Islam is passionate about development. His trainings and speeches are inspired from his real life experiences, successes and failures. His work revolves around developing entrepreneurs , women Leaders & managing great people; starting & running a profitable company; overcoming failure; Bootstrapping, and Empowering women entrepreneurs.
Islam is a graduate of the University of Magdeburg in Germany, with a dual degree in both Economics and Management. He also studied Mechanical Engineering and Design at Cairo University. Islam received diverse management certificates in strategic management, IT & entrepreneurship from the universities of UCLA, University of California, Berkley & the University of Texas at Austin.
Islam is fluent in Arabic, English & German.
